We are currently assisting ‘Katie’ to find an experienced Team Manager to manage her small team of support staff.

Job Summary:
Katie is 27 years old and lives in her own home with her parents and pet cat. Katie has an acquired brain injury which she received at or near the time of her birth. As a result, Katie has Cerebral Palsy which affects all four of her limbs, her trunk and neck. Katie also has a moderate learning disability and communication difficulties. Katie needs support in all areas of her life and has personal care needs.
Katie is currently looking for support workers to take her to her daily activities Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30 pm. We are therefore looking for a Team Manager to support this new and growing team. Whilst this is a small package of support at present it is likely to grow in the future and the team manager position will be pivotal to supporting Katie, and in liaising with her parents and the clinical team with this exciting journey.
The role will be a mixture of support hours and direct support to Katie as well as designated time for team Management and liaison with Katies parents. Main hours are Monday to Friday 8-am 4.30pm, however there is an expectation that you would be available for some evening and weekend hours as required. As the role develops Katie would like to have the occasional overnight support.
Applicants must have access to their own vehicle they are prepared to use for work purposes and hold a full driving licence.
