Are you generally a positive person? Are you approachable and personable, able to demonstrate patience and understanding while being calm and able to make decisions? If so, then we are looking for a fourth person to join Miss A’s care team.
Experience of working with young people with cerebral palsy and physical disabilities or communication difficulties, while an advantage, is not essential.
The right personality and the ability to learn and follow written care plans and training is all which is required.
The role does include driving Miss A to activities so you must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to drive an adapted Motability vehicle.
The role includes some help with personal care, so is open to female staff only (Occupational Requirement (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9 Part I)).
Hours will be between 8-12 per week over one shift on a Friday (with optional overtime available).
