We are a Case Management company, commissioned to provide supervision and management to staff who are employed by the person they work for. We are looking for a part-time support worker to join our team working with Mr C in his home, in Red Lodge, Suffolk. The role is for 27 hours per week, to include every Sunday between 09.00 and 18.00. Optional overtime to cover for staffs’ leave will also be available.
Shifts and availability will be discussed at interview.
The team provide cover 24-hours a day, including a sleep-in night, led by a very experienced Team Leader.
The staff usually work on a 2:1 basis, but sometimes 1:1 is necessary so applicants must have the confidence to lone work at times.
Mr C has cerebral palsy which affects all 4-limbs, which means he relies on a wheelchair and is hoist transferred. He enjoys going out in the community and all things related to driving and vehicles.
He uses Makaton to communicate his wishes.
Staff implement various therapy programmes, this role would suit a physiotherapy or OT student, or someone with experience in working with people with disabilities in their own home.
Weekday Hours – £15.50 per hour
Weekend Hours – £17.00 per hour
Sleep-in Night Hours (from 23.00-07.00) – £12.87
5.6 weeks annual leave per annum (pro-rata)
